RE: DP Variable Speed Fan

Cummins installed a Horton Clutch Kit on my ISC-330 two years ago at 15,000 miles for $725. I have been very pleased with the results. The majority of the time the fan is on a low speed making the noise level much less. I only notice the higher speed cut in on long hard mountain climbs. The rear radiator stays cleaner much longer. Cummins claims up to 28 hp increase with the kit. I have seen a slight mpg increase plus alittle more power. The tech from Cummins said this addition was the single best thing you could do for the engine. Cummins Mid-States Power Inc. makes a lot of large rallies and will sell and install. Jack Markin was the tech who installed mine. 1-800-777-3691 Money well spent.

RE: Sticky problem

Blue Ox serviced mine at a rally last year. He did as Rollincool said but he used red grease on the chrome rods. One part of the tow bar could not be tightened, so he just replaced the part. All this was "NO CHARGE".

FMCA ST. PAUL

St. Paul will be my FIRST FMCA convention. What do I need to be aware of? What things do I not want to miss? Any advice would be appreciated.

RE: Opinion on 'curbside' slide on front (kitchen/living room)

Our curbside slide out has the awning on the slide out and it is adjustable. Works for me.

RE: Water pump pumps air into lines -fresh tank is full?

I wonder if when you filled the tank to FULL...going down the road slouching all around....maybe a siphon occurred and drained your tank. Try not filling until it over flows.

RE: Where Do You Get Your Class A Inspected in Northern VA?

I get mine inspected at a truck/auto service center. Look for a service center and call to see if they do inspections.

RE: Carbon Monoxcide death at Indy 500

Such a shame! When we use the genny, and are stationary, we route the exhaust above the coach. Cheap insurance.

I second the Snap Ring Tiresavers. Stayed on in 50 mph winds a week ago. Have had them for almost 3 years with no problems.

RE: Compatibility of AW32 Hyd oil and Dexron III ATF

In my manual it states to use 15W-40 motor oil in my hydraulic system. Well when it was time to replace the filter I was not sure if it was AW32 or motor oil. I contacted Monaco to get the manufacturer of the pump. The manufacturer stated their pumps are compatible with motor oil, AW32 and Dextron lll, and I should go by what the moterhome manufacturer recommended. It looked like motor oil, it smelled like motor oil, it felt like motor oil, and tasted like motor oil..........must be motor oil.

RE: MPG/Horsepower calculator

The VMSpc program is a free download. You can play around with it. You will need a box and cable to connect your coach to your laptop. I think is is around $375. Go to my last post on this subject for their site.
